Bicycle wrench -- mystery maker?
« on: September 25, 2012, 01:41:52 PM »
Bought this bicycle wrench at a flea market on Saturday. I consider myself a bicycle wrench guy but have never seen this name before. Looks like Thura Co or Thuna Co. I'm continually impressed with the depth of knowledge on this forum --  anybody know about this company? As an aside, this is my first attempt at posting photos, so . . .

I looked through Schulz but didn't find a match.  One by Aiken is close and some of the English makers are close.  Most of the slots are wider than the one on your wrench.  I don't have Ken Copes book with me so can't say what it may have.  As Bob pointed out, most of the references to the name are Asian, when you look at Google and Bing.  I somehow don't think the wrench is Asian.  Not the right shape.

No clue, it does provide interesting search engine results tho....

"Canned Fish -  We Product Whatever You Want Of Thuna-fish"

Apparently it's a Thuna fish wrench .......

Just a weathered light rust/WD40 mix patina.

Might be from Downunder. When they wake up, we'll see.
