Been looking for newer IHC wrenchs for a while. Last night at auction found these specimens.
1/2 drive rat 999377R1;1/2 extension 999375R1;1 1/4 combo 999448R1;1 1/8 combo 999447R1;13/16 combo 999442R1;11/16 combo 999440R1;13/16 deep socket 999410R1;7/8 deep socket 999403R1;1 1/16 socket 999392R1;1 1/4 socket 999395R1.
Got a few Snapon pieces as well. Got out bid on the sockets as they were in flat with many other sockets and only 2 IHC sockets in each flat;but was able to trade some pictures of dead presidents to high bidder for the IHC stuff.
Presently happier than a pig in a bucket of slop.
One question: the combos all have convex cross section except the biggest one and it has concave cross section. Different suppliers?

far as i know all were made by wright,  maybe a engineered strength issue with the bigger wrenches. good luck.

I had a concave Wright I picked up used with a twist in the shank.    No heat or a lot of force required to untwist it back to straight.   Almost too easy.
A Proto wrench of the same size requires heat and a strong back to get pulled back to proper form.      I'll take an oval shank over the concave, thank you!
The only bad tool is the one that couldn't finish the job.  Ironicly it may be the best tool for the next job.

CORRECTION
All wrenchs are convex
kind of new here

Since only the large size is concave I wonder if it was done for weight reduction on the larger wrenchs. Agree with wrench guy it could be strength issue i e, getting more material further from neutral axis but it doesn't look like they are doing this. No increase in width on outer edge. Just doesn't look like section increase for strength. On second thought Nicks 14 piece set surely goes as large as 1 1/4 which would mean it may be a vintage issue.

Internationl harvester tools have been bringing big bucks on ebay.  I have a 1/2 drive ratchet listed now.

Now is the time to sell International Harvester tools.  Someone parted out a collection on ebay and the prices went through the roof.  Here is my 1/2 ratchet now. Not bad for $3 at a pawn shop.

I have a 1-1/16 I-H concave wrench,so I don't think it was done for weight savings.
Been wrenching as long as I can remember...
