Anyone have any experience with this brand wrench? Don't generally touch offshore stuff but these came with some IHC wrenchs. This is smallest of 4 or 5 in box. Worth keeping or just good for trot line weights ? I don't get out much and have never seen this brand.

oldtools

My set has served me well, Used them for 30 years without a problem, may not be collectable, but a good usable working tool.

I think that the name came from a line by Yul Brenner in the movie The King and I.

I Have a set , I bought at a new tool auction about 30 years ago. As good as Craftsman.
Of all the things I've lost , I miss my mind the most

The TC in ETC is most likely 'Trading Company', everything exported from Japan back then went through a trading company/exporter. Dunno which one tho, the name seems to belong to Wilson Trading Company at the moment....(Perhaps they bought someone)...as to who in fact made them..*shrug*.????

Just a weathered light rust/WD40 mix patina.

I bought a set of ETC Industrial wrenches as a teenager in the 70's back in England.  I have two of them left.  My dad borrowed them off me and used them in his job as a heavy truck mechanic.  He lost them all except for the 3/4 and the 7/16 sizes.  He never broke any of them
