There's a really small hatchet multi tool on ebay just now:

But what is it with Oxwall Tool Company?  Made in Germany, but also has an address in NY, NY, , and there's another that was in New Jersey.  I have an Oxwall 1/4 inch drive rat -- so who made it where?

I have a Oxwall 1/4 ratchet set. Box gives no info on location of manufacture. Ratchet and driver are marked "Made in USA" Haven't tried to get further info on company history. Seems odd that company location is not printed on box.

So far as I can tell, Oxwall was just a dealer who never really made anything themselves. They bought mainly novelty tools from wherever they found them, had them marked Oxwall, and sold them through grocery stores, mostly on the 99 rack.

Globemaster came along behind them and did the exact same thing, except Globemaster sold even cheaper tools and -always- for 99 cents.

Oxwall sold better quality goods most times. I like that socket set, especially the box!
