A few years back, my brother gave me a set of tool-shaped Christmas ornaments, mostly hand tools, but one of which is an electric drill. I got to looking at it today as I was putting up the ornaments and finally figured out that the designer must have owned/seen an old Milwaukee Hole Shooter (from the metal bodied tools era). I had one for a while, and this has the hallmarks: slanted pistol grip, bright red color; yep, that's it.
The left-handed drill bit puzzled me - the old Hole Shooters didn't have a reverse switch. Then I realized the ornament designer must have been looking at a tool built for the Southern Hemisphere, where everything's backwards.
