I just found out about the coming up increase last week.  The post office kept this one kind of quiet.  I made a similar post on the GJ to make people aware of the coming increase.  That thread quickly became political.  I think this board will will handle a thread like this much better.  This is something that has an impact on all of us.  It will now cost us a little more to get the tools we need, and cost our buyers more on the items we sell.

Even with the increase, the flat rate boxes are a great deal.  Much cheaper than fedex or ups.

Don't forget the regional boxes. They can save a bit in certain situations.

The hard part of this for me is that I have quite a bit already listed on ebay with flat rate shipping.

I'll either have to change the prices, or eat the difference...again.

IS THAT THE ONLINE PRICE OR PO ?

I couldn't recall, Bob, so I went back to look.  It's about as clear as mud.  Those rates are for "Retail Priority Mail Flat-Rate" (versus "Commercial").  It is not clear to me if "Retail" is in the PO, but one could probably think that way without fault.  I HOPE they are PO prices, otherwise I'm about to take a huge hit.  Example today I shipped a flat-rate envelope at $4.80, whereas this new rate would be $5.60.  Again, I hope that isn't a "home" rate.

Again - clear as mud to me.
