I needed to get out of the house, so I went to the local auction.

It was like a candy store for tools!

boxes and boxes of great wrenches and sockets sets.

Sadly,  there was "that guy", who paid twice retail for all of it.  (:

I did buy a box of Meccano and Erector sets, which was OK, but not what I had hoped.

However, while cleaning up the Meccano parts, I found this little guy,  he made my day!!

Any ideas what it was used for?

It's about the size and weight of an Altoids box, so I am thinking sales promo item?


Or perhaps storage for tiny screws to a larger tool?
