Older Crescent wrench
« on: January 26, 2013, 09:39:41 PM »
I'm working on an older Crescent brand wrench. It was pretty bound up when I started but I have it moving now.

I want to pull it apart but the screw that holds the adjuster/jaw wont budge.

Is it a right handed thread?

All the ones I have disassembled are right hand thread.   Not surprised its stuck solid, I imagine you have been soaking it in penetrant?   They also *staked* the end of the screw hole so it couldn't come out.   If you have it all moving, maybe just lots of oil and keep moving  it back and forth.  Luck, John
