These Pliers are marked Thewlis & Co. England inside handle. What are they used for or any info.

Thewlis & Co. is listed as a maker of textile machinery for dying and finishing fabrics.
(including sealskins, carpets)
Located in Huddersfield (Phoenix works, Folly Hal(d?)) ~1915

So, likely a textile related tool....

Just a weathered light rust/WD40 mix patina.
