Picked up these screwdrivers and axe head this last weekend at a sale. I have a few axe heads from this company but have never found one with the full trade mark logo. These screwdrivers are the first tools I have encountered from MHW Zenith. They are very well made and built to last. Anyone have any of their tools? Are they mostly an upper midwest company?

Neals

I think I have a zenith wrench somewhere. I didn't know they were a Marshal Wells house brand. MW was in Canada also. At least in Alberta not sure about elsewhere.

I had a single bit axe but gave it away. Have not seen any other tools with the MWZ logo before.

ZENITH was their "top of the line" trade mark.

Thank you for the info. The Portland warehouse explains it nicely.

Is the screwdriver handle on the right made of leather washers?
Just a weathered light rust/WD40 mix patina.

In the Sioux City Iowa area, have never seen one, after going through flea markets and antique shops for 20+ years.   Certainly would have remembered a name like that.

Rusty the handle is made of leather washers. Only the second handle made like that I have found. The other one I own was made by Truth tools also from that area I believe.
