New Channellock Adjustable
« on: March 01, 2013, 06:18:54 PM »
Channellock Inc. (Meadville, PA) has introduced its 30-inch 830 Adjustable Wrench. The new wrench complements the existing adjustable wrench line and is six inches longer than the previous offering from CHANNELLOCK®. The new wrench provides added power and leverage, as well as a jaw capacity up to three inches. These improvements coupled with the fact that the wrench is forged from Chrome Vanadium Steel for superior durability and performance makes the CHANNELLOCK® 30” 830 Adjustable Wrench capable of handling the biggest and most demanding jobs in any industry, says the company. The CHANNELLOCK® 30-inch 830 Adjustable Wrench provides users with a reinforced joint, with a 1.5-inch thickness and 6.3-inch width, as well as premium support behind the wrench’s 12 pound steel structure

I got this from a industrial trade magazine email that I get.

Just looked it up it lists for $423.52 and is made in Spain

That is a handful.   Pretty interesting, but how does it adjust?

I saw a smaller adjustable on ebay about a week ago with that same adjustment style. I think it was a 8 or 10 inch size. If I remember correctly it was listed with 2 others in the same listing.

Nice!

I imagine the maker is Irega as they make the other Channellock adjustables. Irega is probably the best current manufacturer in the world...
