this is the second time I have see this wrench the other time was when i bought it( and who knows when that was). I have searched the web twice to find the value of it. The only thing I found were two and they were both sold.I personally like the wrench and I do believe it is valuable .I am going to sell it when I find out what it is worth. If i do not sell it here I will go to ebay and stick a ridiculous price on it and see what happens .the wrench is 5 inches long and plated.   It is marked

Bob:

Lots of neophytes pay more than they should for wrecked tools. The Mossberg C wrench on eBay had a hole drilled through the handle, and there two marks like spot welds on the handle. As a collectible it was probably close to worthless.  The wrench is an East Coast wrench, which means that someone may pay more for it who hasn't seen one before.

As to price, it's as you already know: Willing Buyer-Willing Seller. eBay is real good at sorting that out on a case-by-case basis.

>two marks like spot welds on the handle

The wrench is held together with pins that are staked in and ground flat, someone has had that wrench apart, and didn't pit the pins in exactly in the same place, so you can see them now.

I don't know what the hole in the middle is about, unless someone wanted to oil it ;P

Even on the east coast, bob's is nicer then typical for that model, but, yes, it's not worth astonishing $$
(IMHO, the one on ebay, ugly as it is, should be in a flea for $3 ..)
Just a weathered light rust/WD40 mix patina.
