These were at the Chickasha Pre-War swap meet last week The adjustable has no teeth, I guess your thumb holds it where you want it.
The vise sure looks odd. The Cadillac drove up from Baton rouge. I talked to folks from Montana, Nebraska, Kansas, Minnesota, Wisconsin, Iowa  and saw a guy wearing a San Diego Model T Club t-shirt.   That t-shirt didnt stay, 40 degrees with a serious wind!

the vise?   That adjustable is pretty interesting though.

Gellman Polly as viewed from the "back side" -- see ( http://www.datamp.org/patents/advance.php?pn=1451906&id=31528&set=1 )  The thumb latch on the "front" has teeth that engage rack teeth on the fixed jaw.

I was at Chickasha also & picked up a handful of old odd wrenches also. It was very windy & cold.
