I think my largest collections of wrenches are Billings wrenches. I think I have close to 100 Billings wrenches.
As I've said before, my only defense against my family for my "wrench addiction," is, "At least I'm not addicted to collecting cars!  (Dad and Steve, keep up the car addiction.... if you don't, I'll look like the bad one!!!)
Does anyone know if particular Billings wrenches are considered more scarce or valuable than others?

Hm Wrench

I have been looking for an early Billings wrench, made before 1911 and I have found them rarer and hard to find.  You can see an example here.

I have been looking for a 7/16" Billings & Spencer socket that went with a 1920's Set No 53 Billings & Spencer Ratchet & Wrench Set. Pictures show the Set and a solid 1/2" square tang socket from the Set.  Seems hard to find.

Hi,

I have just joined this forum. I am a tool collector, specializing in Billing & Spencer items. Wrenchmensch, I have more than a dozen of these old B&S socket sets, as well as numerous loose pieces. I'll look tonight for the 7/16 you need.

I have literally THOUSANDS of B&S tools, including plenty of duplicates that I would love to trade. If anybody is interested, please let me know.

I also have an extensive collection of B&S literature, and I am happy to answer questions about  the company or its products.
