Picked up some Facom Ratchets Stamped Brevete S.G.D.G

Anyone Heard of these Before?...Came From a Brother of a VW Dealership Owner!

One is Number S150 and One is Number R150

Those are Steiny ratchets! Too cool!
I'd surmise that, since FACOM is a French company, the wording and letters stand for something that is perfectly obvious in  French but just letters to us English-speaking folk.

I'd surmise that, since FACOM is a French company, the wording and letters stand for something that is perfectly obvious in  French but just letters to us English-speaking folk.

Aparently Brevete is "Patent" and the SGDG is the initials for a disclaimer required by the french government...Whatever that Means Lmao

Yes, "Breveté SGDG" means that it is patented but "sans garantie du gouvernement" or "without Government guarantee". That is, the State assumes no liability in any respect to the patented item. They stopped marking items thusly in 1968.

Not Sure What i will do with these Yet, As I Was Searching through the Tools i Brought Home that Were His I Think i found the Sockets and Cases that Came with the Ratchets...Still have Not Found the Extensions to them Though!
