Gang,

Found a sweet combo wrench at the local pawn shop today.  At $4 it was priced to move, so I moved it to my garage.

The CWB wrenches are standard length combos finished in black oxide.  They have the old style V-gullet at the open end, but also have the improved 12pt broach on the boxend.  These wrenches have fairly narrow beam, but the edges and corners have all been nicely radiused which makes them very comfortable to handle and use.

In my book this is a modern, practical, user wrench.  And that's what I plan to do with this wrench and any other Cornwell CWB wrenches I may find.  Here's a couple of photo's for anyone interested:

Gary, what's the overall length of this wrench? It makes me think of old Bonney, and the corresponding Loc-Rite wrench is about 9 3/4" OAL.

The CWB series is in fact very much like the old Bonney pattern , It also somewhat resembles a Blackhawk pattern. Very nice pattern,  and an improvment over Cornwell's earlier pattern that had rather sharp sides...
Just a weathered light rust/WD40 mix patina.

Bonneyman,

The wrench measures 9-9/16" OAL.

I have several Cornwell tools (mostly wrenches) that I have hoarded back to use. Well made and thoughtfully designed. Real user tools, in my opinion.
