Only one I've ever seen in my travels, and another blade handle.

That was actually a good price on that one. I've seen them bring lots more.

The cast iron one on the right is a file handle, if I'm not mistaken.

Holy doggy doo doo batman,   that is the Maytag wrench I have in the auction link.

I had no idea those sell at such silly prices.    Are they really that rare or is this just more Ebay madness?
The only bad tool is the one that couldn't finish the job.  Ironicly it may be the best tool for the next job.

If you google Maytag wrenches there is a site called Smokestack that had an old(2002) thread about the rarity of the various wrenches.  There is also someone who had posted drawings of the various wrenches and there number.

Be aware that the more rare ones are being faked.

They're referring to numbers 1 thru 8, is the one I posted something different than what they're talking about?

These are the numbers

(The numbers are meaningless with respect to the wrenches use btw, just numbers someone once gave them in a book on old wrenches...)

Yours is #3, the only one that isn't flat.
Just a weathered light rust/WD40 mix patina.

Alas, mine is a lowly and common no. 1 style with mild rust pitting.......

Looks like I may have to work a few more years before retiring.  ( lol )

Thank you for posting the pics!
