Champion OK wrench

I found this old thread , but it didn't have a wrench like this.

Not a lot on google , other than one listed on ebay.
So it's not a one of a kind!
5/8" x 11/16"  x 8" long.
looks like a part of a set , 59 on back.
Any info ?

Your wrench combines 3 unidentified marks, the OK, champion, and the triangular raised panels on each end......

not a clue...

Champion Corp of Hammond, Ind was using "OK Champion" to identify tillers tho....
So perhaps this one is an impliment wrench....

Now this wrench has the same odd triangle features as the one I had posted awhile back, wonder if there's a connection.

 Believe the Champion Corporation of Hammond,In is the correct ID. Pete shows one in his vol I and it appears to have the diamonds. champion potato digger.

champion planter, digger and cutters were manufactured there.  i guess its correct to call a contraption to cut potato s for planting a cutter?  help ????

Sure looks like an  Eberhard manufactured wrench for an O. K. Champion potato digger.
Now I wonder if there is a full set.
I see there are collectors seeking the diggers, and reference to them still in business in 2007.

According to Rathbone the company was started by "OK" Otto Knoerzer as the Champion Potato Machinery Co, and is now The Champion Corporation.

There are only five known OK Champion wrenches. Two are double open ended s-wrenches like yours (Nos 59 and 69).

Without Eberhard's "E" in a circle logo couldn't definitely say they were made by Eberhard. John Pope's patent that was assigned to Eberhard is a little different. As a side note this was one of thirty consecutive design patents issued to Pope on the same day.

I found this one in my collection. Any chance it shares the same history? Is it the predecessor to the Champion (cheap) brand Sears has (or had)? It has the number 503 on one end and '2' stamped (and over-stamped) on both sides.

50x was a somewhat standard number for double ended S-wrenches, it was likely part of a set of sizes. The 500 series was split when ISN's were adopted, probably because more than one type of wrench was using the 500 series numbers. (the 500 series ISN's became the standard numbers for Set screw and tool post wrenches)
I have a few Champion marked S-wrenches as well, I am not really sure who made them (Syracuse??), but lean toward them not being the same as the OK champion ones..
