These pliers are marked JP Danielson Co USA and are 8" long. Does anyone know what they are used for? Thanks

This is one plier in a set of two for battery servicing. This one holds the 4 point battery bolt head, the mate to this tool is a plier with 8 sides and would grab the hex nut. It could grab a corroded nut and keep the edges from rounding. Think of it similar to a flare nut wrench, but in a plier form.

Looking for HinsDale 4 points 1/2dr in a few sizes and a Bonney 12point 1/2" in 3/8dr.

He-He. Now you don't service batteries...you just replace them! Took my truck battery in for them to "test". They said, it's bad, and sold me a new one.
