The Boxer and Cambell Co. Detroit Mich. pliers
« on: September 30, 2013, 12:37:38 PM »
Well it might look like I collect these but they are from piles of stuff from auctions and swap meets. Didn't turn up any thing on a search. they are pressed steel not forged about 12" long  with file like serrations on the business end. Any ideas on what these were used for?
A bunch of pics (5000+) of tools and projects in our shoppe

"Boyer and Campbell" were tool and machinery dealers, so probably an advertising piece, or their house brand of someone else's pliers...

(Can not find a good ad, most hint is 'tools for fabricating from metal and wood....)
Just a weathered light rust/WD40 mix patina.
