This mornings goodies
« on: December 07, 2013, 10:31:51 AM »
Hit an estate sale this morning, and braving the cold was worth it. Found a couple of great condition vintage tools, basically NOS. The S-K Wayne 1/2" ratchet cost a $1, and I'll bet Oily will dig the Thorsen 1/4" ratchet and universal.

I went back to that estate sale on Sunday (1/2 off), and found the other two Indestro wrenches to complete the set. Here are all four in a family pic.

I thought you lived in AZ. It don't get REALLY cold there.
Here in the great lakes region it is colder than my ex-wife's breast out there.

Braving the cold in AZ? That made me laugh.

I don't think it's been above 0 here for a week. Today we're supposed to hit 18 though. It should be a nice day.

Yesterday Anchorage was warmer than Cedar Falls IA.  High of +4 F and overnight it warmed up to 11.  The local "every Tuesday" Auction house might have ot move the tools inside today.....lol
