We had a nice day at the car show. Next door was the Gun and Antique Show. It was tough to get pictures with small spaces and lots of people, but I gave it try. The Ruana family was at the gun show with hundreds of knives. I took one photo of the Marble's axes, though there were a few more. If I were a rich collector, I'd love tracking these axes down. I don't know how I managed to miss my favorite of the car show, but I did. The 1958 Impala, un-restored with about 30,000 miles on it got my vote. It looked like it was a couple of years old - beautiful, but not shown - dangit.

A few of the Ruana Knives.

And Marble's hatchets.

That Mustang is sweet.

First I've seen two toned like that , grows on you after looking at it for awhile.
Of all the things I've lost , I miss my mind the most

Not much of a car guy but the mustang looks pretty nice. Different but nice.
And I'm proud to be an American,
where at least I know I'm free.
And I won't forget the men who died,
who gave that right to me.

My grandfather had a Ford Fairlane in the red and white.
You might say I have a tool collecting problem....

Beautiful pics!

The only sad thing about them is it just reminds me of what our country used to be able to do, and now all we can get is cheap plastic junk.
