I saw this in an antique shop recently.  I wasn't familiar with the manufacturer or type.  Do any of you have any experience or info on this wrench or maker?

I haven't checked AA yet, but I will next thing.

It called to me in a way, I am positive, similar to how Calypso entrapped Odysseus. I was entranced. Mrs. Chilly looked at me and said "If you don't get it, you'll regret it later." I bit, of course.

The place is incredible, lots of vintage tools at prices that suggest the owners have never seen eBay.  I bought a string of 7 ea. 3/8" deep well sockets, many with owners marks, one with its chrome flaking, for $10.00 - they were priced the same as 9 ea. 1/2" Wrights, but they were Snap-On's.

I see them occasionally but never picked one up. They come in 3 or 4 different sizes.

I have had several, and may still have one or two. I never found them remarkable.

Amazing the number of different ways they came up with to make a wrench "adjustable".
My friends call me Bob. My wife calls me a lot worse.

I have a 6" version that has an internal spring rather than the external one like yours.
Marked patent pending.
