Unfortunately, this was the second time I had glued it...  just wasn't focused this weekend !
However the second time was right after I had glued it, so I was a little faster on the uptake.
I had to soak it over night to allow me to remove it the first time, but it also bleached out the wood on one end, so I  had to soak the entire back to get the same bleached look. I hope to stain it this week and move on.
This is all just for fun so no big deal.

Just supposed to be fun, not frustrating !!

What are you refurbishing?

An old box I had sitting on the shelf. I sold off 4 of them so I kept this one to play with.
Missing the bottom drawer and front panel, I don't even know the brand.
Doesn't matter to me, I am having fun (except for that back piece!).
I am using a mahogany stain, so it will be dark !

This uses the ring pulls for the drawers but mine have 2 nails and the reproductions ones listed for Union boxes have 3 nails.
A guy in Houston bought a box from me via Craigslist, and he recently gave me the contact info for a couple in Minn who might have a drawer. We will see!
