Northwoods

As I said earlier, I bought a small Shapleigh Hardware Co / Diamond Edge hammer with a nice diamond logo last week.
Is there any way to tie down its range of manufacture dates?  This site  tells me that the trademark was first adopted in 1864. I have no illusions that the hammer is that old, but when was the logo last used?
