I know this is not a tool and I dont mind if you delete this thread  later. I have been asking on old car forums with no luck and I know we have some very knowledgeable guys here. I have searched thru carnut.com. I suspect it may be a pickup hood and I'm guessing its about 1936.
It had 3 stainless strips per side.
It has two handles on each side. Some manufacturers started that in 34 but a lot of 34 and 35s had vertical louvers and by 1937 some companies had started making 'pancake' hoods. Any one know what year and manufacturer?

Im going to look into it and hopefully get you an answer, I am curious although I know you are already close in what you have come up with so far.
Always looking for what interests me, anything early Dodge Brothers/Graham Brothers trucks ( pre 1932 or so ) and slant six / Super six parts.

I may be wrong, but I believe it may be a 1935 Dodge sedan hood.

I forgot to ask you last night that I would need the image in jpeg, I dont know what a bmp is but I do know the comp does not like it. If you send the Jpeg to jhason2@yahoo.com I can get you an answer

Thought that a 36 Dodge was close when I found the restored one. Unrestored pic says it's not.
