I picked this up over the summer but didn't get around to looking at it real close until today.

Closed it measures 5 1/2 in. long. The problem is it has no marks.  I thought I'd be able to find something in Schulz or Cope but no luck.  Anyone have an idea who made it, or do I have an orphan?

I have one and have it cataloged as Reed MFG CO Erie PA.

Yes two lines and the third line says Guaranteed. Marked on the upper jaw.

I double checked and mine is definitely not marked. 
I have catalogued mine as Erie also, based on your information.

 I just checked some of my small wrenches and found 2 of these wrenches.

both have 10 grooves/flutes on the handle.

both are 5 1/2" long closed

" NO MARKINGS" FOUND using an old weighted base, lighted inspection magnifier. plus, as needed ( my glasses)

while having both wrenches apart in 3 pieces each,and as one was shiny and the other was not cleaned yet, I played around with
mixing the parts.  they were very much interchangeable.

has anyone located a patent on this wrench ???     

I know exactly what it is.
It is an "adjustable" metric wrench.
