Have finally gotten around to documenting some of my wrenchs. Did a alphanumeric spreadsheet on my IHC wrenchs.Likewise my Mossbergs and my ratchets. Next subset is implement wrenchs. Using Rathbones index as a base I made a list of implement wrench companies (left out companies I didn't think I had any wrenchs from) Still ended up with 253 companies. Now to sort them alphabetically by company and then alphanumerically within each company.
I would provide room and board if anyone would like to stop by and help.

That ought to keep you out of trouble for a couple days at least.  Good Luck!

A daunting task but you can do it.
A person who could really read human minds would be privileged to gaze on some correct imitations of chaos.

Good golly Miss Molly! I just started getting caught up on my cataloging today, and I thought I had a daunting task in front of me! Yeah, you are going to be busy for awhile there Jim.

WOW   Huge collection, that will keep out of trouble for a while.

turnnut

what would be nice is an oval shaped conveyer to lay them out on with a chair in the center.

that's a lot of bending to reach them, unless you use a magnet to pick them up.

I admire you for taking on that task, seeing you do that, gives me hope that it is not too late to do the same with mine.

thank you for sharing, just take your time and don't overdo yourself.

Man, what a job!! Makes me feels like a slacker, though! I have boxes and boxes(and more boxes! lol) I need to do that to!  :embarrassed:

Partial success. The implement wrenchs are alphabetized by company and recorded in alphanumeric order by each co. They are on paper and need to be transfered to spreadsheet. Took two and a half days to sort and record.
The free room and board offer is hereby rescinded. (no Takers)
My late wifes wheelchair saved the day. You can pick up wrenchs from the floor without getting up. Saved my back and my knees.
Think I'll give up buying wrenchs as I don't want to mess up my orderly wall.

Wish I had half the time it would take to do that, of course I only have tools from 15-20 manufacturers, I think.
