How do you see the messages you sent ??
I can't seem to find them, only the replies.

You have to check the box to save a copy in your sent items.  Bottom left, under the text field.

I often forget that! Check the box or you won't see them.

I forget to check it about 90% of the time.

Is there any way to make that save option the default?
Every other forum that I am on makes you uncheck if you don't want to save your replies.

It is a Simple Machines software default that I can't control as far as I know. Looks like it is the same on Garage Gazette.

Click my messages- then at the top of messages box hover over preferences and click change settings- click the the second box from the bottom and then click change settings in bottom right corner.
