Henry Ford did not pay $5 a day out of the goodness of his heart, he did it because there was a
about a 300 worker per day turn over. Many men did not stay to lunch time. Also the $5 per day
was only for white,married men that went to Church every Sunday.

Thats exactly correct, Olds factory burned down though and partly because of that Ford got the credit.
Always looking for what interests me, anything early Dodge Brothers/Graham Brothers trucks ( pre 1932 or so ) and slant six / Super six parts.
