I'm working on a shed to get it ready for winter and the wife is at auctions and junk shops.
she did buy a couple of boxes of tools (is she a member here?)
just spread them out on the tailgate. a couple of Saxon alligator wrenches are they for the automobile of that name?

You've got a wife who brings home boxes of tools??  How did you get so lucky?

According to the interweb, Kilborn and Bishop made the Saxon alligator wrenches.  I don't think the Saxons had alligators; just dragons (see St. George) and really cool longbows.  But I didn't know about the car, and had to look it up.  Sweet looking little thing.

I noted a couple of rivet sets there in the second pic (bottom right, down and to the right of the red-handled Stillson wrench), in addition to the usual wrenches, pliers, etc.

Which bit of metal there is the whatsit?

A old friend has one, his birth year 1917, yep he will be a 100 next year his dad lived to be a 107 so he has a few more to go at least. They were not around long, rivets sets I know about, crank handle for a V8 Ford missing the extention.  I've  put in a hundred or so screws to hold the barn boards on. My relatively new Bosch jigsaw switch went bad only had a 3" long cut to make yet. Good thing I have my old sears/craftsman two speed jigsaw to finish the job. She bought a radio too, a crystal set made in St.Louis, a Glen radio, rare one for sure.

I propose a vote to make your wife an honorary member!

Well I don't think I want her in my molasses tubs! She had to work at one of the antique malls Sunday, on Monday she is going to be digging out a lolly column and helping me push the beam over a sliding door up.  Those tools are on the back of the JD Gator probably if the door thing works out get rinsed with soap and water then sort some into the mollasses tubs.  She found some unmarked Roseville pottery "tourist" pattern, she is so excited paid 40$ worth 10 times more that in a old value guide. 

Well I was thinking most of them need a mollasses bath, but after a little soap and water, then a scrub with a chunk of a floor scrubber pad (non abrasive) they look pretty good!

I have been married 23 yrs and my wife has yet to bring me home some tools. LOL
