Saved it from the metal recyclers. I'm guessing it's a seed planter, gears on the rear wheel for moving a hopper of some sort. It's not very big, so I'm not sure if it's people powered or animal drawn. Any of you have something like this holding up tomato vines in your garden?

It's a shame the lid is missing.  It might have had a cool logo.

You got it,  planter for big gardens.   Usually had an iron loop ahead of the wheel to be horse/mule/pony drawn.  Paint it up, am seeing more of these.

Cool. I have one made by Planet Jr, All metal, not as long as yours and I'm missing some parts but some day I hope to get it cleaned up to go along with other vintage farm/garden implements around the yard.

Possible it might be a potato planter???   WAG
