Bought this Bridgeport multitool at auction thursday. One of the more common multitools but I was impressed by its condition i e no chips in hammer nail puller intact as are the handle scales. Will not make my fortune but is a joy to admire.
The Keen Kutter wagon pictures are included because they had the same owner who ran a hardware store. Thought they were interesting bit of tool history. Don't own the pictures as others also thought they were interesting.

Cool old pics for sure. And that Bridgeport tool is in sweet shape Jim. Usually the ones I see are beat to smithereens.
My friends call me Bob. My wife calls me a lot worse.

Think how them tools were used.   Kid hired to unbox things in the back room, whanging away on the wood crates and anything else he thought he could bang on.  I saw Bridgeport multi and was wondering how a mill could be a multi tool!

nice tool Jim,  also, thanks for sharing the KEEN Kutter pictures.

every time I see a picture of an old  hardware dealers parade display, it shows me how they advertised before the TV's came along.
even other types of merchandize are interesting.

some of the old advertising posters were super attracting.
