On GJ, see Post 964, are these PH tire spoons?  Looks like they say Plantsville, Conn on them.
I know the top one is part of a valve spring tool, but the spoons(?) are interesting.

Yes, those are tire spoons.

 I have seen them before,  I might have one in the garage. (now it bugs me )  check Papaw's ad   $12.oo  per dozen.

That makes three for each tire, not counting the spare.

I have one of those and one of the valve spring depressors (without hook) in my listing queue that I will probably be putting on Ebay late next week.   If anyone wants either, I can list it in the tools for sale section of this site first.

I actually live in Plantsville CT and find HD Smith tools regularly.
Those are two of the most common HD Smith tools to be found (besides screwdrivers) although it's hard to find the valve tool complete with the chain and hook.
Wrenches are very common around here too.
Least common are the hatchet and the draw knife.

I have three versions of the valve tool with chain and hook, and one of the regular type valve tool. I would like to find one of the hatchets. I also have a drawknife somewhere in the bottom of a box of tools.

Hello, Bill. Thanks!! There is a rectangular stamped label on the flat area near the tip. The former owner chipped the tip, looks like a little filing, grinding, was also done in that area. The grinding invaded the rectangular border of the label. Has a ding & a scratch over the patent date,but I was able to figure it out with the help of the DATAMP Advanced Search Option. The label reads THE H D S & CO PERFECT HANDLE TRIPLE LEVER PAT AUG 8 1911 MADE IN PLANTSVILLE CONN USA. Regards, Lou
