Awhile back, found the shiny push drill, Yankee, unused.  Has all the bits.  Then a near twin that has lots of wear, a Goodell Pratt, still has a couple of bits.  The blue one is a Stanley Handyman, also unused.  Took the second shot as I realize there are a few people that don't know how to get at the bits.  Yes, I use them too. 

I have several that I use when needed.

Push drills are under-appreciated.  Nothing beats them when installing hardware around the house (brackets for shades, cabinet hinges, etc.).  This is particularly true when you're up on a ladder; they fit nicely in the back pocket of your jeans, right next to the screwdriver you'll use to put screws in the holes you just made.

You meant this type of screwdriver, right?

No, reciprocating screwdrivers - "Yankee" screwdrivers - are valuable, too; but push drills make holes.

i used one of those push drills under my desk at work to mount the security cable for my pc.   worked like a champ.   They're still good to have around.

Have a bunch of them, never used one.
