My neighbor came over and gave me this drawknife this morning. I had never heard of nor seen a Black Prince drawknife. Is it maybe a second grade tool for some better known company. I didn't get any info with quick googol search. Any info appreciated.

My guess is a hardware brand. Maybe Simmons or Shapliegh. They both had a lot of different brands.

Bill Houghton

Pretty nifty name.  It was probably not Prince Edward's* drawknife; I'm not seeing any indication in the online histories that he was a woodworker.

Sharpen it up and put it to work.
