This tool has been on the family ranch for over 60 years. It used to be a cattle, sheep and goat ranch. Any ideas what is called or it's purpose? I appreciate your help. Have a blessed day everyone!

Looks like part of something.  Just a WAG.  Could it have secured a mop head?
Seems too flimsy for fence work.
The ORIGINAL Northwoods.

Kind of looks like a handle for a crosscut saw.

Well it has a very short handle so it is not a mop head. I will get some additional pictures to post.

A person who could really read human minds would be privileged to gaze on some correct imitations of chaos.
