This came in the treasure box that I recently acquired from a retired antique dealer.  Only thing is, I am really not sure what it is, where it was made, year, and who made it.... Another item I cant find on the internet.  So please any info would be great.

Has mark 11 or ll on handle see pic. No other marks.
7 7/8" Long

Jaws open gap 1 3/4"
Weighs 13.5 ounces.

Wow!  Your right.. just did a quick search and found the patent and pic.

No. 11 "Vandegrift" loop handle nut wrench

See Patent Picture #2 on link below for same looking tool.

http://www.datamp.org/patents/search/advance.php?pn=444171&id=20779&set=1

Applied:
Jan. 02, 1890
Granted:
Jan. 06, 1891

Description:
A spring holds the jaws open. A sliding wedge on the movable jaw and a yoke pivoting from the fixed jaw provide the adjusting means. The patent was realized as malleable iron nut or pipe wrenches.

Vandegrift received another patent for a different quick-adjusting pipe wrench a week later (pat. no. 444,511).
