What do I have here ?
Cleaning up a shelf, I found this tool and don't remember it at all.
It is 3 1/2" long and has a plunger that either has a spring or a leather washer inside and seems to push or pull air when activated. One of the curved parts is firmly attached and the other is not. The loose one doesn't want to thread onto the threads on the body , though it seems to be threaded and does slide onto the fixed one.
On the plunger end is  PERFECT , and a star.

Confused...it says "perfect," but there's no wooden scales?  What were they thinking?

No idea what that is.

Hello, Papaw. Perfect made pocket oilers, might be worth taking a look to see if yours is one. Regards, Lou

Why would you want to oil your pockets?  The money slides out easily enough already!

Seems I remember "Perfect" being a brand name of gas engine model airplane parts. Wheels, gas tanks, propellers, etc. This would be about the right size to fit a COX Thimble Drome 8 ounce fuel can. I think I remember filling up .049 Cox engines with same pump.
