Hello, I found this at the flea today, first one I have come across. P & C 1/4" drive metal socket case. Found in the case,  unmarked sliding head T-bar, 3 P & C sockets, 3 unmarked, 2 Plomb, and a Mustang. Regards, Lou

Nice old box Lou, does it look like it was re painted red?
The ones I`ve seen are army green.

Hello, jabberwoki. Thanks for the reply. Good catch on your part with the paint, there are traces of green on the lid and base, probably a re-paint, as you pointed out. Thanks again, Lou

Nice find. I have yet to find a P&C tool box of any size. I don,t collect P&C tools, yet I have over 400 of them. I live across the river from Portland where they were made so I find lots of them everywhere. I found 4 sockets this week alone. I have one socket that is marked P&C and Proto. I have at least one socket that has the WF (Wright Field ) code stamped on it. A lot of P&C tools appear to be re-badged Proto tools. I have a big P&C spud wrench the lady at the gas station found lying in the driveway and gave me. I know that Plomb bought P&C back in 1941 so that explains why so many P&C, Plomb and Proto tools look alike. There is also tons of Vlchek and Barcalo tools around here also. Oh, I did find another BOG socket the other day.
