skfarmer just sent me a text that his father passed away today. You guys all know how close Harlan was to his dad, and this is truly a sad day for Harlan and his family. SK was visiting family in Denver when he received the news. He's on his way back to ND, and probably won't be in around for a while. He asked me to tell all his friends about the sad turn of events.

That is sad, I too know they were close.  I met his Dad when visiting Harlan a couple of years ago.  Just rolled up on the farm in his truck on a Saturday to see what was going on.  Visited for a bit then went on his way.
