Hello, I also found this on Craigslist. I have bought and sold a few of these, usually full of tools, and usually pretty beat up. This one is brand new, with front panel,  key, & dividers, never seen a tool, no rust!!!! This is a keeper, had to have a place to store my Machinist Made Hammer!!! Regards, Lou

Interesting that you just put this on, at the auction on New Year's Day I bought one that looks just like that one but dirty etc. etc.  It weighted about 70 pounds, full of stuff, a lot of junk, but some good stuff.  I would include a picture, but it all over the shop in pieces and I'm in the process of restoring it.  All there, drawers all work fine, front section pulls up and latches are good, only thing missing is the key, will look near new when I'm finished.  Oh yes, paid $7.50 for it.

Hello, Coolford. Nice way to start the New Year!! Regards, Lou

I got an empty box exactly like that one with keys at auction for $5. I'll get a pic tomorrow.

You should go buy some lottery tickets.

We appear to have several deserving candidates for "You suck" awards. Great way to start the new year.  We should await the judges' decision.
You might say I have a tool collecting problem....

Among the various tools mine had a Nash key and a Studebaker truck data plate.

That is definitely sweet.   :embarrassed:

I have seen the Kennedy boxes also marked Craftsman; so apparently they made a line for Sears at some point.

Hello, Peter. Thanks!! I have seen other manufacturer's boxes in that brown pebble finish, never gave it a thought that they may have been made by Kennedy. Regards, Lou

Hello, Yadda. I may have to bow out on the "you suck" award regarding the Kennedy box. I aid $100.00 for the box, lowest retail, or wholesale I could  find for the same box was $285.00, plus tax, plus shipping. There may be a lower price out there, but I had to move quickly to buy this one. Regards, Lou

Your recusal is noted Lou. Still a great buy, but probably not suck worthy.

OK, here is pics of my box. Don't pay any attention to my junk in it. And this one is a Waterloo brand, but just like the Kennedy boxes. Drawer pulls are black instead of brown.

Are Waterloo boxes comparable with the Kennedy boxes when it comes to the manufacturing quality too btw?
Read what experts say about electric log splitters and how useful they are.

While cleaning my box I found the Kennedy name on the lock.
