Can anyone tell me anything about this vise ? I would guess the logo is F W ?

I have seen  that logo  but memory eludes me

looks more like a key than an F to me...what do i know...

I give up. I did some internet searching, but there isn't much to go on.  :/

I'll bet the "F" stands for  "forge" the "W" is most likely the company name. So Williams or Wilton come to mind, any others?

I also did a bunch of searching and found nothing.

If only Abe Lincoln had followed through on his inspiration about the internet, so that all those 19th-century product catalogs were online, we'd be fine
