today I got a quite old engineering style wrench, cast (steel?)

very oldschool style tool and very heavy

the opening is 2 3/8 and the head is 1 inch thick

no subtlety here its a big honkin wrench

the ID part is:

its stamped W S & H

It was found here in upstate NY, in the upper Hudson Valley.

So I leapt to the idea that it was from the West Shore and Hudson Railroad

It doesn't say "RR"

Nor is there an exact match to west shore and hudson

does anyone have a link to RR history that is more complete than wikipedia?

OR does WS & H mean something else altogether?  industrial? agricultural?

Thanks

Skip

Google "recipes using rabbit;" over 23 million when I looked just now.  You just need to bring the rabbits up with you.
