Although I have a couple logging saws I could not pass this one up at auction yesterday.  Haven't cleaned it yet so don't know if it is marked.  It is a six foot saw (tile is 13") and the handles are like new.  Obviously not much used and still very sharp.  These are hard to fine with two good handles. Oh yes, at the grand price of $7.00.

You might say I have a tool collecting problem....

I have one just like it and couldn't get $10 for it.

In the Ozarks they generally sell for $25.00 to $35.00 depending on condition.

Would you like to try it out? I have a couple of trees that need to come down, they are dead and good firewood!
A bunch of pics (5000+) of tools and projects in our shoppe

Think maybe I'll stick with my gas furnace for another year. ;-)

Dad had a story about when he was a kid his uncles had a wood lot along side the railroad (Elkhorn River valley in Nebraska -- all cottonwoods)  & were thinning out the stand / cutting firewood & a tree fell the wrong way & then they heard the whistle from the stop a few miles down the line.  He said that's when it paid to have kept your saw teeth sharp, and you pulled double time or better!!
