No maker marks visible.  The pliers hold something in the jaws by spring pressure.  Squeezing the pliers opens the jaws. The jaws have a longitudinal slot and a crossway 90 degree slot.  Slightly fuzzy photo shows slots but you can't see that there are (worn) grip serrations in the jaws.

o-ring installation tool?

I believe that is correct. I have a similar pair and have always considered them to be for O-rings. They work well in that capacity for me at least.
All my taste is in my tools.

At first I thought Horse Shoe Lock Ring Pliers, but those have serrations on the outside of the jaws. Possibly a medical/laboratory use? Regards, Lou

Could be medical, but also could be used as a roach clip !

That would be a huge roach!

I wouldn't tell you this story, but Statute of Limitations and all-  Some friends and I once had a pound of "wacky tobaccy" and used a whole package of Top papers to roll up a veritable cigar of a joint and smoked it ! Then we used a piece of fuel hose to hold the roach while we finished it off !

I'm surprised your fingers were steady enough to put the roach in the fuel hose.  I bet the colors were reallllllly cool that night.

There were 4 of us at the beginning , but one left. The other two decided to race their bikes. Triumph against Norton. Three runs where one or the other missed a gear. I took the keys then and we just chilled for a few hours !

Go ahead, but two of the guys have since died, and the other has moved away, and I don't know where.

I have the same pair of unmarked pliers. Papaw, you didn't tell us who won the race ?

They both were winners because I took their keys away so neither would get hurt !
