How can I value this complete set?  There's not enough on eBay to make a good comparison.  Only two sets are shown in this box - one appears complete but has older looking components ($50) and the other says it is complete but is not ($100).
I believe this set is complete having replaced the missing 3/8" socket.  Even the bar for the breaker to make it a T handle is present, along with 2 square sockets.  The box is near perfect except for lack of paint and no lack of rust (I have not yet cleaned the box or the sockets).  An ebay seller has logo decals but I'm not sure if it would add value if I painted the box.  What do you think?

Hello, Al. If all of the logos are correct, and no ownwer's marks, I would think in the $30.00 - $50.00 range. Regards, Lou

Everything matches, so yes the logos are correct. Thanks!

Its a keeper, repaint the box pebble gray and look at it once in awhile.  I feel its in the upper range of the range Lou listed.

I agree with coolford.
There is a psychological term called the ownership effect: It is the observation that people who own an item tend to evaluate it more positively than people who do not.
All sellers are familiar with the principle.  So, feel free to bump up the value of the set.  I know I would.

If I was selling it, I would list it on eBay as an auction with a minimum bid of $40.00 plus freight. It may go for more but the new buyer will have to correct the finish issues on the box. Here are my keeper sets.
