Got a Crane Puller Co.puller at auction yesterday. Interesting design that was new to me. No.103 locking arm puller is cast on one arm but main body has 102 number. Don't know which is model number and which is part number. Says patented but didn't turn up any patents for this company. Literature I find seems to put it in early 1920's. Anyone have any info or experience with this puller?

looks like an adjustable puller for use in a shop, not  necessarily for a specific task.

 Some of the early advertising I found promoted the idea that it was a multi purpose puller. They also made a three arm puller.

Really good looking puller!!
I like the locking feature. This is a scarce feature in a beam puller.

I was taking bids for the Burkey Auction last March and got one for a Crane Puller on the auction from a man from Conn. He said he had over a dozen different Crane Pullers.

Crane Puller was in Lot CB097.

 Interesting; they are similar but one from Burkey auction had hole near end of arm and angle of arm where it attachs to beam looks a little different (hard to tell from pictures sometimes different angles make things appear differently)
Wonder how many models they made ? A little more research seems in order.

I know the man from CT,  he collects certain pullers.  Have sold him some.

 Dykes Automobile and Gasoline Engine Encyclopedia shows picture of two arm Crane puller with arm attached to each of eight holes. Calls it a complete set. Someone on E-Bay has a big three arm Crane puller for sale. Says it weighs 45 lb and wants $70 to ship it. Haven't found catalog but did find ad that said contact factoty for catalog,so one did exist.

If the guy on ebay is shooting straight on the freight, the puller  he is selling weighs about 85 pounds.

He may have rounded up a bit.
