Haven't been out much lately - 6 weeks ago I had an accident at work and my leg got crunched by a truck tire.  Still in a cast and using a walker.  But my wife took me to the barn sale.  Only spent a short while but found three nice pieces. I try to clean tools before posting but it's a long walk to the garage.
K-D 428 snap ring pliers. CalVan 143 Spark Plug Wire Puller and "H -in -a-Diamond" Forged Steel USA pliers.  Who made these? I am guessing Herbrand?  They have a H in diamond logo but did they incorporate it into the grip pattern.?

I think your pliers are Harold pliers.

After perusing everything I could find on Harold tools relative to pliers, I have some evidence that the above thin nose pliers are Harrold - versus Herbrand.
The only reason to consider Herbrand was the "H in a Diamond" on the handle, a trademark listed in Alloy Artifacts.
The features I found that may be deciding factors are:
   There are many examples of a Harrold plier of identical design but with no teeth in the inner part of the jaws.
   There are many Harrold pliers with the same grip pattern but without the "H in Diamond".
   There was one slip joint plier that had a stamping with "Forged Steel USA" and a "H" inside a Triangle.  These had the grip pattern with the "H in Diamond". But they were
          not marked Harrold.
It's not like these are valuable, no matter who made them.  I like the design.  But you have to understand that with my broken leg I have nothing better to do than split hairs!
Four more days and I can get this D**n cast off!
