Aweek or so ago, there was a posting of this set of OBE IHC wrenches that sold for really high money,,,over 700 dollars.
I read the poet, went and looked at them on eBay, and wondered what made them so valuable.

Today, I found 2 wrenches just like in that set. 
Anybody remember??

I caught that one too and couldn't figure how the hell they went for $700 until I looked at the rest of the pictures to see that the lot included a Farmall Pedal Tractor. Still ... wow!!

YES!!!! That's exactly the one.   And "Thank You"!!!
Oh, and the ad said on the second page,,,, that the toy tractor was a separate sale, not included with the tools.

Here is why I asked about these wrenches,,,, I bought a 15/16" obe and a 13/16"obe this morning at our local week-end flea market.

I saw them in a tool bag on the tail-gate of a seller.
I bought these and an old Plomb wrench for 5 dollars.

Any idea as to why this eBay bid was so high,, and with 31 bidders?????

That is the only reason I bought the IHC #999444R1 marked wrenches.
Yes, they are "v' notched, and quality made.

Also,,,,there were 35 bids.  Only 12 wrenches, 1 3/8" ratchet, 3 sockets, 1- punch, 1 chisel.
That's a total of 18 tools divided into 710 dollars is 39 dollars a tool   Amazing.

Maybe all 35 bidders thought the pedal tractor was included,,, even though it was clearly printed on the bottom that it was not included.?????

35 bids, 13 bidders. I don't' know, I see where it says tractor not included .... but seems a little shifty to include it in the pictures. And, the heading for the listing says, "IH international Harvester Wrench Set - Punch Sockets Case farmall Pedal tractor"            
I think that's dirty pool. He is going to have trouble I think.

I have never seen newer IH wrenches B4. Who made them and when were they available?
